Long story, short: my PC died the other day, I've lost access to 99% of my files with a 50% chance of recovering them, I have exams and assessments piled one on top of the other for almost all of next month and I'm swinging extremely between up and down days. Will be more scarce than usual if that's even possible while trying not to fall apart and die. 8(

I'm aware I have been a massive flake even more than usual recently. To the people I've been threading with: I'm really, really sorry. I'd been hoping to have worked something out once I got settled into the pattern of going back to uni.

But I have about three assessments coming up in the space of a week. I think. And I'm not exactly prepared for any of them. So I'm officially declaring hiatus for a little while, more to put my mind at ease than anything else because I just doesn't have to capacity to be worrying about keeping up with pretendy fun time games AS WELL as everything else. I'll probably still show up at IRC now and then in a nervous wreck, especially in the design chan. orz

And, again, my apologies for leaving cfudnetwork in disarray, I will. Work things out eventually.

Availability: I live in futureland i.e. Australia and am a full-time student, currently in my last year of university, so I'm using only around at about 9PM-1AM. At best. I'm also a casual nightfill worker so sometimes I might not even be around until midnight. I'll rewrite this once I've settled in my routine for the semester.

Timezone/Language: GMT +10 (+11 during daylight saving), and I like to pretend I can speak English.

The Playing Experience: I am a massive flake and have recently only been able to manage a couple of threads every couple of weeks, but I'm desperately trying to fix that. I'm all for being jumped, or picking up a thread! It will probably require some prodding, that's all.

As for pimping to me, I'm open to trying just about everything. The problem is that I get around to things in my own time, which could take ... years. Threading and building CR is possibly one of the most foolproof ways to get me to start something. It also takes a lot to get me to app someone because I'm rarely pinged by anyone (look, five years and only as many characters!) but keep trying and something might happen. |D;

Other: So I run cfudnetwork. I'm always taking volunteers, although I still fail at organising shit and find any help in regards to drops or idles helpful. BTW I'll be getting back to the people in my CFO post soon! ...I'm also constantly amazed that I have managed to keep it up for as long as I have and without official mod approval, sort of. orz;

I've been in the most ridiculously long RP slump and am basically clinging on via sheer stubbornness because AAAH APPING!!1! and I'm hoping to get out of it eventually. I'm also chronically shy and prone to missing the punchline, so if I'm ever out of line, I'm so very sorry. ILU ALL EVERYONE AND JUST WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND. >:

ETA: Before I forget again, I found a blog that makes comparisons between the magazine chapters and the volume releases, and for the last chapter, they actually pointed out the similarities between the first and last chapters. I noticed some of them myself, but I didn't even realise the parallels between the cover spreads.

I honestly haven't really thought about what Suzuna will do during her vacation, hurr. :D; But coming home after so long, well ...

It hadn't really sunk in that ES21 was ending until this chapter came out. I'm fairly certainly it ended prematurely too: midway through the week, I checked s-manga and found out that it had actually been falling to the back of Weekly SJ. So many loose ends left unfinished. ;o;

But for a premature ending, I think the creators handled it fairly well. It would've been nicer if all of ES21's huge, huge cast had been given sufficient screentime, but what can you do. And omg guys, Suzuna gets so pretty in two years. ♥

Going back to uni tomorrow! This is my schedule:

Tuesday: 10 am - 1 pm, 4 pm - 7 pm
Thursday: 9 am - 12 pm
Friday: 10 am - 1 pm

Times are usually at GMT +10; although for now, it's at GMT +11 until April 5th.

HOWEVER, some other things to consider:

1. I'm in my third year of uni. Increased workload!
2. I'm going away to Europe (Netherlands, Belgium and Paris) from April 9th to 24th (we think). Have yet to figure out if I can or will be taking my rather screwy, past-warantee laptop along.
3. I have a ton of assessments/projects due the week I'm going away, come back and the week after.

What I believe this means is that I'm going to be increasingly very scarce, at least IC-wise, because I'll most likely have to finish and hand my assessments in early. I can't even imagine how much work and time that's going to take. I might not even be able to fully get back into things until maybe June or July.

So this is just a heads up if you want to thread with Suzuna, Kiri or Uru. You can probably use this post to leave me a note if you need any of them, if you want.
